Mara Vale is 37, independently employed and frequently towed. She follows the money through Los Santos, Liberty City and Vice City, then tries to get enough of it back to cover her expenses. Politicians mistake her for publicity. Criminals mistake her for transport. Her editor would like everyone to stop putting the microphone in evidence bags.

Mara is an original fictional character, not a real reporter or witness. She presents our source-grounded news, where After Hours Dispatch is the accountable author and her witty takes are labelled character commentary. Her dispatches invent incidents and supporting characters; they are not game canon or official Rockstar material.
