An unofficial fan site
After Hours Dispatch is an independent, unofficial fan publication about Grand Theft Auto. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto, its settings, characters and logos belong to their respective owners. Mara Vale, her supporting characters and the fictional dispatches are original fan fiction, not game canon or official material.
AI-made content
Much of this site is drafted by AI, as each item’s label and our publishing page explain. Automated news is checked automatically against its linked sources but is not read by a person before publication, so it can contain mistakes. The site is provided for entertainment and general information. Check the linked original sources before relying on anything here, and tell us about errors through the contact page.
Using the site
You may read, share links to and quote short extracts from this site with credit and a link. Please do not republish whole stories or fiction, present them as your own, or use the site in a way that disrupts it, such as automated requests at a rate that burdens it, attempts to get around its security, or sending spam through the contact form.
Our original writing, fiction and illustrations belong to the site’s operator. Publisher announcements, artwork, video and trademarks shown or linked here belong to their owners and are credited to them.
Copyright and takedown procedure
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or another legal right, we want to hear about it, and we act quickly.
- Send a notice. Use the contact page and choose the topic “Copyright or legal”. Include the address of the page on this site, the work or right concerned, whether you own it or act for the owner, an email address for our reply, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised and that your notice is accurate.
- We hide the item within 2 days. Within 2 days of receiving a complete notice, we hide the item through the site’s takedown list while we review it. A hidden item disappears from its page, the archives, the feeds, the sitemap and the auto-wire. Notices are flagged to the owner ahead of all other messages.
- We review it and reply. We look at the notice, the item and its sources, and tell you what we decided by email. We aim to finish within 14 days.
- What happens next. If the notice is upheld, the item stays removed or is edited, and an edited item comes back with a correction note. If the notice is incomplete, or we conclude the use is lawful (for example a short, credited quotation used for news reporting), we explain why and may restore the item. If you disagree, reply through the contact page and we will look again.
Other legal complaints about a specific item, such as defamation, privacy or trademark concerns, use the same topic and the same steps. Nothing in this procedure limits rights you have under the law.
Repeat infringers
Readers cannot post to this site today. When a community forum opens, these terms will also apply to what members post there. A member whose posts are the subject of two upheld copyright notices within 12 months will lose the ability to post, and their account will be closed. We may act sooner for a flagrant case. A member can contest a notice through the contact page before a strike is counted.
Corrections
We correct substantive factual errors with a visible note and an updated time. Report one through the contact page; published corrections are listed on the corrections page.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, accurate, available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss caused by relying on the site or by it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above identifies this version. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information.
